Program Assistant, 4-H Youth Development

I grew up in Wyandot County and went through 4-H from Cloverbuds all the way to volunteer status. I am currently a Cloverbud volunteer in Wyandot County. While in 4-H I took a variety of projects such as; Hogs, Rabbits, Leadership, and Cooking. While in 4-H I did several of the State and National opportunities that 4-H offers. I attended the National 4-H Congress, National 4-H Conference, State 4-H Leadership Camp, and served on the Teen Leadership Council. I ended my 4-H career by being named an Ohio 4-H Teen Hall of Fame reciepent. I still enjoy being a counselor for the Ohio Military Kids Camp, Camp Kelley's Island and State 4-H Leadership Camp. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. I plan on going to The Ohio State Univeristy and getting a Master's degree. Being a 4-H Educator is my dream job and I am excited to be a program assisant to learn all about what an educator does.
