    We will be having drop in pressure canner gauge testing in the office. Please bring your pressure cooker lid or lids to be tested. There is a charge of $5 per lid tested. Please contact the office for more information.

    Cost: $15 due with registration & health form. Deadline to register is July 16th or until registration is full, whichever comes first. Registration material can be found in this website under 4-H Youth Developement,  4-H handbook, newsletters and forms.

  6. 4-H Secretary's Book Judging

    In order for your secretary's book to be judged, you must have the book turned into the Extension office on or before AUGUST 3, 2015. *NOTE: the secretary's book contest is OPTIONAL, but highly recommended!

  8. Food Preservation Workshop

    Jul. 29, 2015 6:00pm to 8:00pm

    We will be having a kickoff to the food preservation season by having our first Home Food Preservation workshop. This class is for beginners and experienced alike and will be covering the basics of canning, freezing, drying, pickling, resources, equipment and more. This is a FREE workshop from 6-8pm at the Sandusky County Health Department conference room, 2000 Countryside Dr. Fremont. Registration is appreciated, but not required. 419-334-6340.

  9. Style Revue & Awards Recognition Program

    Jul. 21, 2015 6:30pm

    We're trying something new this year! We are combing the traditional Style Revue Event with a 4-H Awards and Recognitions Program.  This event will be specific to Sandusky County.
